Julie Carson - Project Manager
I have been part of the Tracy Cook CPA team since July 2023. Before diving into this role, I spent over a decade navigating the maze of government services, eventually focusing on contract management and administration. But, at the core of all the work that we did were people. Our job was to serve our community members and assist them in navigating complex situations. It was quite an adventure. I am grateful for the years of experience and knowledge I gained working in partnership with local and state government agencies, as well as the ongoing, successful community projects our agency was responsible for implementing along the way.
I've known Tracy basically our whole lives. I graduated Cum Laude from CSU Stanislaus, with a B.A. in Social Sciences, focusing on Research Methodology. I live in a little town that doesn’t even have a stoplight, where I've spent the last thirty-plus years embracing the slower pace of life. In my free time, you'll likely find me with my nose in a book or daydreaming about my next travel adventure. So far, one of the most amazing places I have visited was the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins in Belize! It would be hard for me to choose my favorite book or author. I collect Stephen King hard covers and support independently published authors across many other genres.
On the clock, my goal is to give my best to our team and our clients every day with the work that I do. Because it's not just a project and it's about building relationships, understanding the unique needs of each project, and ensuring we all move together towards a common goal.
